One of the most telltale signs of going on a luxurious vacation is having a tan. If you want to impress your friends when you return from your next vacation you should choose one of these great beaches. 1. Copacabana Beach, BrazilWith clear sandy beaches and sparkling water it is rated as one of the best beaches in the world. With a backdrop of the rolling hills of Brazil, you will not only find yourself tanning here but also enjoying the beautiful scenery. In addition to being a great place for tanning and for enjoying the landscape, Copacabana Beach is rarely quiet. There is always something happening on this beach so get out there if you can. 2. Waikiki Beach, Oahu (Hawaii)This is a paradise for vacationers. You will be able to sit in the sand and watch the surfers along the two mile long beach. If you would rather work on your tan than take a dip, you can spread your beach towel out in the soft Arabian sand that lines the shore of Baby Beach. 5. Newpoprt Beach, Southern CaliforniaAs one of California's top beaches, Newport provides a hint of the American dream. Lounge with other vacationers and sunbathe or slip into the water for a while. Lifeguards are only on duty during some times during the year. 6. St. John Island, Virgin IslandsSt. John Island is technically a National Park. It is located in the beautiful Carribean and the lands are highly undevelopped. Beaches such as Cinnamon Bay are beautiful and also very remote. Bring your significant other or your whole family. Analyze the Costs Before You Buy a Boat

Owning a boat costs much more over time than the actual purchase and the fuel to run the boat. There are two types of costs associated with owning a boat: one-time costs like the actual purchase, titling and outfitting of the boat and ongoing costs like fuel, insurance, maintenance and docking. When you purchase a boat, the first decision is to buy new or used. Used boats obviously cost less but may have fewer features and more wear than a new boat. Additionally, new boats often come with warranties. Buying a boat is similar to buying a car and shopping around for the best deal and the best financing can save you a lot of money up front. If you're buying a new boat, dealers often charge a "commissioning" fee to cover the installation of any special equipment, tuning the engine and other post-purchase items. You will also have to pay sales tax and some states have a personal property tax that must be paid on boats over a certain size. Most boat owners a responsible about budgeting for the initial purchase and outfitting of their boats, but underestimate the ongoing costs, which are the bulk of the costs of owning a boat. Insurance is the most important of these costs and the most complex. Getting quotes from several companies will ensure you get the best rate. Also, agents that specialize in boat insurance will be able to help you understand any language specific to boats that you may not be familiar with.Dockage is another ongoing cost, unless you are lucky enough to own waterfront property. Slip fees vary by size and amenities offered. For example, in San Diego a slip with water and electricity for a 32-foot boat costs around $300 per month. Many boat owners also do not realize that if they want to tie up at a different marina or dock than their own that there may be a docking fee.Maintenance is such a persistent ongoing cost that it has become almost a joke among boat owners. Before you purchase your boat, you should study the owner's manual and the manufacturer's website to get an accurate idea of yearly maintenance costs. Maintenance costs include more than just engine maintenance. Consider the costs of replacing sun-faded fabric, hull painting and sail replacement as well. Finally, you need to estimate gas costs. Many a novice boat owner has been tripped up by assuming that gasoline costs the same at a marina as it does at the gas station. However, gas costs are marinas are significantly higher than at the gas pump. Visit a few marinas to get a sense of what boat gas actually costs. Gas Prices

Isn't it amazing how the industry always manipulates the prices of gasoline higher right before the summer vacation season, which is also the the season when people are on the road the most and therefore using the most gasoline? How can our government allow speculators in the market and the gas companies to be so out of control and so out of bounds as to a drive prices up so high that it is affecting all aspects of American life, including driving food prices through the roof?

How can this be when a surplus of gasoline actually exists?

Well maybe it is due to the fact that all of our wonderful leaders in the government have stakes in the oil companies, have friends or family that own pieces of these companies, or are taking money under the table from these sinister corporations or the people that lobby for them.

Do you think that anyone in the government cares about you , or that any of these wealthy money grubbing capitalists that control the people in government like puppets on a string care about you, I Don't Think So!

They could care less if they destroy everything you have worked for or the American economy because they have so much money that it won't affect them anyway.

I call upon all Americans to not buy any gasoline for seven days and see how quickly these theives change their ways.
